Description: On February 21, 2018, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Juliese Walton was a passenger in a vehicle lawfully driving near Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn when the vehicle was unlawfully stopped by NYPD officers, including Officers Nicholas Delvaccia and Danny Karma. Without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, the officers searched Walton and found no contraband. Despite this, the officers arrested her, handcuffed her, and transported her to a precinct. The officers then provided false information to the District Attorney's Office, leading to Walton’s detention at Central Booking. After a period in custody, Walton was released when the DA's office declined to prosecute the case. She suffered physical pain, emotional dis...
