Description: On April 15, 2019 at approximately 4pm Defendants including NYPD Officer Brian Wilkens unlawfully stopped, searched, seized and falsely arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff was in the vicinity of 412 8th Avenue New York. He was approached by an elderly white couple asking for travel directions. Shortly after the interaction, Defendant NYPD Officers approached Plaintiff, stopped him, and grabbed his body and arms to prevent him from moving. Defendants searched Plaintiff without any probable cause or indicia of contraband or unlawful activity. Defendants forced Plaintiff's arms behind his back and placed tight handcuffs to his wrist causing injury, pain, and discomfort, and brought him the Midtown South Precinct.
