Description: On May 3, 2018, Plaintiff was aa passenger in a taxi and in the process of paying when he was forcibly grabbed and removed from the taxi by officers without justification. Plaintiff was then transported to the precinct where officers threatened to charge Plaintiff with various sex crimes if Plaintiff did not falsely confess to the possession of controlled substances. After Plaintiff refused to lie, officers falsely charged Plaintiff with sex trafficking. As a result, Plaintiff was incarcerated for eight months. Plaintiff was subsequently released when all charges were dismissed.

Description: On June 28, 2017, Plaintiff was riding his bicycle in the vicinity of Grand Concourse Avenue and 188th Street when Plaintiff was intentionally or negligently struck by Defendants' motor vehicle, driven by Defendant Janert Gil, Olahshin Williams or John or Jane Doe 1. Defendants Gil, Williams, and John or Jane Doe 1, then beat Plaintiff with fists, boots, radios, flashlights, or batons until Plaintiff lost consciousness, suffering hemorrhages and fractures, for which he was hospitalized for a week.
