Description: On March 23, 2023, Plaintiff was in the vicinity of 760 Allerton Avenue, County of Bronx, when Defendants Police Officer Destiny Santiago and unnamed John or Jane Doe officers approached Plaintiff from behind assaulted and battered him. Defendants violently contorted Plaintiff's arms behind his back and affixed handcuffs in an excessively tight fashion, which caused Plaintiff substantial physical pain and injuries to his back, neck, hands and wrists. Defendants found no illegal contraband and refused Plaintiff's request to loosen the tight handcuffs. Plaintiff was interrogated without counsel and without being Mirandized.
