Description: On May 8, 2023, PO Christopher Francis, Paul Louis, and others intentionally struck Plaintiff who was lawfully operating his motorcycle, specifically a dirt bike, with a New York City Police department motor vehicle. After being struck, Plaintiff was approached and tased by the defendants. Plaintiff was transported to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries and held at the hospital under police custody for approximately one week without probable cause. On May 8, 2023, the defendants created and submitted a false police report, and on April 2, 2023, initiated a prosecution against Plaintiff.

Description: On August 17, 2019, plaintiff Jeffrey Lloyd was present at the intersection of Marcy Avenue and Martin Luther King Place in Kings County, New York, when he was allegedly assaulted by police officers Christopher Francis, John Brennan, Paul Louis, and other unidentified officers. The assault involved being beaten, kicked, punched, thrown against a fence, and forcefully handcuffed. While in police custody, Lloyd was further assaulted, denied medical treatment, and transported to a police precinct where he was held until his release on August 18, 2019.
