Description: On August 22, 2021, Plaintiff was walking when Defendants NYPD officers, including KARLINA CORTES, ALLEN MOORE and other unknown police officers, approached him and unlawfully arrested him without providing any information. He was handcuffed and his bag was searched. Although there was no evidence of any crime, Plaintiff was charged with Attempted Murder in the second degree, Attempted Assault in the first degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree. Defendants maliciously forwarded false evidence and false information to prosecutor. After arraignment, Plaintiff was in custody for 6 days. On August 27, 2021, a New York County Grand Jury dismissed all charges against Plaintiff.

Description: On July 31, 2019, while the plaintiff was walking on the street he was stopped by the defendant POs and asked for identification and if he knew anything about guns in the area. The plaintiff then provided identification and stated that he had no knowledge about guns. However, the plaintiff was unlawfully seized, searched, and arrested by the defendant POs without any reasonable suspicion of unlawful behaviour. The plaintiff was then taken to the 71st Precinct where he was fingerprinted, photographed and searched again and detained for 24 hours. While at the Precinct, the defendant PO slammed the plaintiff on the ground and injured his hand while removing a ring from the plaintiff's finger, leaving the plaintiff...

Description: Defendant Officers stopped Plaintiff in a public housing lobby, falsely arrested him and assaulted him, causing him to suffer a seizure on his was to the 25th precinct. He went into a coma at the hospital for 5 days. Charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence, Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Dismissed for failure to prosecute. An a second occasion, Plaintiff was again stopped by officers in the public housing lobby, strip searched at the 23rd precinct, and charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, later dismissed.
