Description: On Thursday, February 1, 2018, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Plaintiff Samuel S. Hohn was leaving his employment. As I was crossing from the Northeast corner of 47th Street to the Southwest corner, Plaintiff saw a man walking in his direction. This man was later identified as Nigel Ricketts (Defendants). About ten feet from the plaintiff, Nigel Ricketts yelled at him, “You’re going to give me money !” Nigel Ricketts then, without cause or provocation from the Plaitnff, pushed with both hands the plaintiff, who fell to the ground and hit the left shoulder. The plaintiff suffered numerous fractures of the left humerus. The plaintiff was disabled, lost his hearing, and was put under medical care, other forms of care...

Description: On January 15, 2019, between 5:30 P.M., and 7:00 P.M., while plaintiff Asher Newton Empty was lawfully inside his home located at 1651 Hammersley Ave, Bronx, Police Officers entered the home in response to a call from Mr. Empty's daughter. Plaintiff was told to sit down and was detained for about fifteen minutes. While in the basement of his property Plaintiff was caused to sustain injuries, was assaulted, battered, and forcibly searched. Plaintiff was grabbed and had his head slammed to the wall. Police Officers requested where he was hiding the gun and searched Plaintiff and the basement. Police Officers induced Plaintiff to sign paperwork allowing them to search the premises.
