Description: On August 1, 2017, in the Bronx, Defendants, NYPD Officers SICARI, LACHOWSKI, DOE and ROE, absent an arrest warrant, probable cause, reasonable cause or any legal justification, and based on fraud, perjury and misrepresentations, approached Plaintiffs DEVIN GONZALEZ and STEVEN RACCIATTI for no reason and summarily stopped, frisked, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner. Thereafter, Plaintiffs remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against them were terminated favorably on 3/20/19.

Plaintiff walked across the street and began filming the officers actions when they tackled him to the ground. Plaintiff was arrested, taken to a precinct, and charged with disorderly conduct which was later dismissed. When Plaintiff's property was returned, the cell phone he used to record the police was missing.

Description: On March 14, 2016, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Adelaine Vazquez and her boyfriend Nathaniel Holmes were walking near Willis Avenue in the Bronx when they were approached by NYPD Officers Arif Majeed (Shield #2098) and Sergeant Pawel Lachowski (Shield #3802). Despite being told that nothing was wrong, the officers allegedly assaulted and falsely arrested Mr. Holmes without cause. When Ms. Vazquez began recording the officers' conduct, Officer Majeed assaulted her, striking her in the face and falsely arresting her as well.
