Description: On September 8, 2018, at approximately 5:00 am, police officers illegally forcefully entered the home of Plaintiff who had previously been arrested on July 16, 2017 and then released on bail. The officers refused to provide a search warrant upon the Plaintiffs request, claiming they did not need one. Upon further asking for a warrant, the officers grew agitated and assaulted plaintiff while handcuffed. Plaintiff was taken to Coney Island Hospital due to their injuries while the rest of the family was taken to the 60th precinct while the other officers searched the apartment. Description: Plaintiff was driving when he began to have difficulty breathing and pulled off the road. Defendant Officers approached and Plaintiff asked them to call for medical aid but instead the defendant officers ordered plaintiff out of his vehicle and subjected him to a series of sobriety tests and unlawfully searched plaintiff's vehicle. Officers tightly handcuffed Plaintiff, arrested him, and brought him to the 60th Precinct where he was given a summons for a fishing knife he had in his car. The summons was ACD'd.
