Description: On or about May 3, 2017, at approximately 3:30 P.M., plaintiff Kemanie Bailey was unlawfully stopped, frisked, and arrested by officers from the New York Police Department in the vicinity of Vermont Street and New Lots Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Despite a lack of reasonable suspicion or probable cause, Bailey was handcuffed and taken to the 75th Precinct, where he was questioned about a shooting involving his cousin, Sean Robinson. Bailey, unable to provide the names of the individuals responsible for the shooting, was falsely charged with felony crimes, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Description: On July 28, 2015, the plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, seized, searched, and arrested by the defendant PO including POs John Guerra, Rajinder Singh, Jasmin and Detective Varghese without any reasonable suspicion of unlawful behaviour. The defendants falsely accused the plaintiff of crimes including a violent robbery which had taken place a few days earlier in the neighbourhood and illegally searched the plaintiff. He went back outside and they questioned him and demanded ID, which Plaintiff didn't have with him.
