Description: On September 15, 2012, the plaintiff, a professional photographer, was taking photos of the Occupy Wall Street demonstration. Plaintiff saw NYPD officers shoving protestors. Plaintiff was grabbed from behind by PO Stephen Latalardo, pushed against a wall, and then walked across the street. PO John Baiera handcuffed the plaintiff tightly with plastic cuffs. Plaintiff complained that the cuffs were too tight and painful, but the officers ignored her. Plaintiff was further injured as the cuffs were eventually cut off her wrists, because of how tight they were.
