Description: On or about September 18, 2013 Plaintiff was arrested by POs and transported to the hospital, where Plaintiff remained in police custody handcuffed to the hospital bed. While Plaintiff was handcuffed to the bed PO Sameer Umrao, PO "John" Smith, and POs John Doe unlawfully struck Plaintiff in the head with a baton or similar object, causing Plaintiff to suffer physical injuries. Plaintiff also sustained psychological and emotional injuries as a result of this incident.
