Description: On or about August 3, 2019, Alejandrina Ramirez was forcibly arrested by New York City Police Officers William Garner and Jane Doe after Ramirez had reported a robbery to the police and later identified one of the suspects. Garner and Doe grabbed her, twisted her arm behind her back, handcuffed her, and forcibly shoved her into a police van. This act caused Ramirez to strike her head on the van, resulting in significant injuries to her head, face, chest, ribs, shoulder, and back, as well as complications with her pre-existing asthma condition.
