Description: On or about November 21, 2020, the plaintiff, Gary Wright-Leslie was approached by the defendants, NYPD Police Officers, Anthony Villacis and Lt. Ilya Dimantov while sitting in his vehicle which was stopped in the vicinity of 17th Street and 81st Street, Brooklyn, New York. Without legal justification, the defendants grabbed and forcibly removed Mr. Wright-Leslie from his vehicle and, without a court-ordered warrant, probable cause or reasonable suspicion, searched Mr. Wright-Leslie's vehicle and person. The defendants then handcuffed Mr. Wright-Leslie in an excessively tight fashion, causing him severe pain and discomfort.

Description: On July 5, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Iman Khalil called 911 as a victim of domestic violence, requesting police assistance at her residence in Brooklyn. NYPD officers, including Lt. Salman Asghar and Officer Anthony Villacis, responded to the call. Despite Khalil being the one who sought help, the officers arrested her without any reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Khalil was unlawfully detained and transported to the 62nd Precinct, where her religious headscarf (hijab) was forcibly removed, and she was denied the opportunity to replace it during her detention and booking process.
