Description: On August 8, 2015 at approximately 12:15 am, the plaintiff was leaving a empty lot where a barbeque had been held by his friends. Several 67th Precinct officers rushed the lot and began searching the barbeque attendees. Officers pushed the plaintiff up against a fence and searched his pockets, and after finding half a marijuana cigarette, brought the plaintiff to the 67 Precinct. The plaintiff voiced his displeasure at being accosted and searched for no reason, and after being pushed into a holding cell, was beaten around the face and body by several officers (including Officers Dalsh Veve, Joel Crooms, and Matthew Hauswirth).
