Description: On February 1, 2013, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Plaintiffs were walking on Graham Avenue near Moore Street in Brooklyn, New York when multiple NYPD Officers, including Defendants Mathew, Campbell, and Garcia, assaulted and arrested the Plaintiffs with excessive force. Plaintiffs were transported to the 90th Precinct where they were each issued a desk appearance for Disorderly Conduct and released on their own recognizance. As a result of the force used by the Defendants, Plaintiff Bussey suffered injuries including a fractured nose and Plaintiff Thomas suffered injuries including a concussion.
