Description: On March 18, 2016, NYPD officers—including Patrick Coriell, Kamala Roper, Diana Lopez, Elizabeth Medina, and Zenobia Copeland—arrested Plaintiff on the complaint of another civilian. The officers handcuffed Plaintiff, then pushed her on to the sidewalk, causing injuries to both her knees. Plaintiff did not receive medical attention. She was instead taken into police custody and forced to walk on her injuries knees. Eventually Plaintiff was taken to a hospital for emergency room treatment for her knees. Upon release, Plaintiff was placed in leg shackles by NYPD officers—including Williams Jones, David Mancuso, and Sergeant Joseph Mule—which caused pain on top of the existing injuries.
