Complaint
Description: On July 16, 2013, plaintiff Murray was approached, assaulted, and arrested with excessive force by defendant officers Jason Marshall, Kenton Phillips, Connor Lichte, and Atkinson. Upon information and belief officers Wayne Mims, Sandrina Osborne, and Zakee Smith assisted in falsely arresting plaintiff, refusing to loosen the handcuffs which caused injury, and failing to intervene. Murray was transported to the precinct and was detained there for 6 hours before being transferred to booking. Plaintiff Murray was charged with petit larceny, grand larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property. All charges were dismissed after having to appear in court 9 times.
