Description: On or about July 28, 2024, Plaintiff was a pedestrian on the street leaving the Dominican Day Parade. Plaintiff was following the instructions of police officers directing the flow of pedestrian traffic. Plaintiff and Defendant NYPD officers Nevling got in a verbal dispute and when the Defendant repeatedly shoved Plaintiff backwards. Defendant Nevling and another Defendant NYPD officer Lopez brutally punched and struck Plaintiff about the head or body. Several other unknown Defendant NYPD officers joined in the assault of Plaintiff. Plaintiff was then confined and arrested without any legal cause or justification.
