Description: On November 22, 2018, plaintiff was inside her apartment hosting a family gathering for Thanksgiving. Plaintiff's disgruntled ex-boyfriend had called the police and falsely claimed that plaintiff was overdosing on drugs that day. Four NYPD officers—Ofc. Eric Dipaolo, Ofc. Joseph Manni, Ofc. Tyler Dowen, and Ofc. Vicente Cardenas—showed up to plaintiff's apartment without warrant. They stated that they were responding to a report that plaintiff was overdosing.
