Description: The plaintiffs were attending a family picnic when an unknown individual sexually harassed and assaulted one of the plaintiffs. The family jumped in trying to protect the plaintiff. The defendant police officers arrived on the scene and indiscriminately attacked the plaintiffs with punches and mace. The plaintiffs were arrested and taken to Brooklyn Central Booking. They were charged with assault, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration. The charges are still pending.

Description: On June 24, 2014, Jay Smith was driving down Berrimen Street when he noticed defendant P.O.s lights and sirens behind him. Smith pulled over and P.O.s approached the driver’s side of the car. P.O. Rodney Greenidge reached through the window and grabbed Smith by the shirt with one hand, then started to punch him with the other. Smith screamed for help, which caused Greenidge to hit him more while attempting to pull Smith through the window. Smith continued to scream for help, which caused passerby to stop and shout out Greenidge, who then backed off to allow Smith to unfasten his seat belt before he dragged Smith from the car. By this time, Smith’s shirt was ripped, and he had sustained numerous hits to his face...

Description: On June 17, 2014, Plaintiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident in Kings County, New York. Plaintiff was thrown off his motorcycle and remained immobile after the accident at the scene. NYPD officers—including PO John Sylvestre, PO Michael DeGregorio, PO Bobby Mohip, PO Kevin Shepherd, Sgt. Jessica Gavars, Detective Christopher Clarke, and Detective Duane Percy— responded to the scene. The defendant officers placed handcuffs on Plaintiff, while he was lying on the street.
