Description: On February 12, 2021, Hillary Wright was assaulted by several NYPD officers while attending a demonstration for Black lives. The officers charged at Wright and piled on top of her, inhibiting her breathing, and then yanked her from the ground by her arms and transported her to NYPD's 7th Precinct. The officers did not have a warrant for Ms. Wright's arrest and did not have individualized probable cause to seize, detain, or arrest her. Description: On October 14, 2019, Plaintiff was inside his vehicle that was parked in the area of the intersection of Patchen Avenue and Halsey Street in Kings County, when Defendants NYPD officers Gregory Baluzy, Thomas Peters, Yuriy Demchenko, Kevin Mulhern, Vivian Gavilanes and John or Jane Doe-1-10 illegally stopped Plaintiff's vehicle. The defendants unlawfully questioned plaintiff about illegal activity without a reason and they physically restrained and removed Plaintiff by handcuffing him and putting him in substantial pain.
