Description: On March 26, 2011, while traveling in a "Dollar Van", Plaintiff was removed from the van by defendant Cronemyer and other officers, and along with the other occupants, handcuffed and taken to the 113th Precinct, in Queens, NY. At the precinct, Plaintiff was questioned and charged with violating a criminal weapons charge, after a weapon was found during a search of the van. After being transported to Central Booking, Plaintiff was released and the Queens County DA declined to prosecute.

Description: On July 11, 2012, Plaintiff was outside a store where police activity was taking place. Plaintiff asked a Defendant police officer where his badge was, and the police officer, without identifying himself, attacked Plaintiff. The police officer then dragged Plaintiff across the sidewalk and caused Plaintiff to hit his head on a street post. Other police officers then attacked another co-Plaintiff who tried to defuse the situation. Realising that there was no legitimate reason to arrest Plaintiff, the police officers planted drugs on Plaintiff. Plaintiff was arrested and charged with criminal conduct. Plaintiff subsequently requested to go to the hospital for treatment but his requests were denied.
