PO McCoy began chasing plaintiff, who did not know why he was being pursued and ran away. Plaintiff then put up his hands and was tackled by PO McCoy and PO Matthew McCarthy. Description: On February 27, 2013, Plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, frisked, searched, and falsely arrested/imprisoned by Defendants Police Officers Joseph Morovich, Matthew McCarthy, and John Does #1-10. Defendant Police Officers refused to tell Plaintiff why he was stopped, then took him to the 25th precinct. There, he was strip searched in a filthy bathroom, including having to spread his buttocks and lift his genitals. At no time was any contraband present, and Plaintiff was severely traumatized and emasculated by the unlawful strip search.
