Description: On February 23, 2022, Plaintiffs, who are of African-American descent, were lawfully present in an apartment, where they lived as tenants, when PO Meyers and other police officers, all Caucasian, entered their apartment in an aggressive manner and without a warrant. Four or five armed officers carrying assault style rifles and wearing tactical gear with bullet proof vests surrounded Plaintiff 1 in the apartment. Plaintiff 1 was partially undressed at the time the officers came into the apartment and was in the process of putting on his socks and shirt.
