Description: On July 6, 2023, plaintiff was lawfully present at 14-64 Beach Channel Dr., Queens, NY. Defendants arrested plaintiff. On July 8, 2023, plaintiff was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court. Defendants manufactured evidence and provided false information regarding plaintiff’s arrest to the Queens DA. The DA presented the matter to the grand jury. Defendants made misrepresentations to the grand jury. The grand jury indicted plaintiff for various crimes. On February 8, 2024, a member of the DA moved to dismiss the indictment against plaintiff, plaintiff was released from custody, and the criminal matter was dismissed and sealed.

Description: On November 10, 2018, police officers Jaipaul Ramdat and John Does 1-10 battered and arrested Kenneth Matthews at Matthews's home -3808 Beach Channel of Queens. The officers without a warning broke down Matthews's door, slammed him facedown and striked him on his face and head. The officers' warrant, however, was for a different unit of the same building - a mistake the officers should have recognized. During the arrest, Matthews complied with the officers' request peacefully. The officers then placed 5 tight pairs of handcuffs on Matthews. Description: On December 16, 2017, plaintiff Ikeem Fowler-Washington was sleeping in home when defendant officers attacked him. The defendants hit plaintiff in his face with some object and struck plaintiff's body numerous times. Plaintiff bled and requested medical attention but was denied. Plaintiff was then transported to Jamaica Hospital so his injuries could be assessed and treated. The plaintiff received several stitches to close deep gashes on his face and was trasnported to a police precinct, however, the plaintiff continued to bleed profusely. Plaintiff was then transported to central booking where he was arraigned on several alleged false claims made by one or more of the defendants.
