Complaint
Description: On January 29, 2019, plaintiff Michael Hardy was arrested by the four defendant officers on the street. During the course of the arrest, plaintiff was repeatedly struck and tased at least twice. Plaintiff continuously offered defendants his hands and any perceived non-compliance was non-violent and non-threatening. Defendants then falsely alleged that plaintiff had assaulted the defendants and provided these statements to the Queens County District Attorney. The felony assault charge was later dismissed.
