Description: On March 10, 2023, Plaintiff CRISTAL PARDO was illegally stopped, searched, detained and subjected to excessive force by defendants POLICE OFFICER MIKE POM SUAREZ; SARGENT DANA MCFARLANE, AND NYPD OFFICERS JOHN and JANE DOE 1 through 10. Without cause or justification, Plaintiff was arrested by defendants, applied excessively tight handcuffs, which caused injuries to PLAINTIFF’s wrists. Plaintiff JOSHUA TAYLOR remained incarcerated for a number of hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges were dropped in Plaintiff's favor. Plaintiff CRISTAL PARDO sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.

Description: On March 17, 2022, Mrs. Butler was inside of 383 East 141st Street in the Bronx. Without an arrest warrant, Defendant officers falsely arrested, unlawfully imprisoned and illegally searched and seized Mrs. Butler. Defendants tackled her to the ground and placed their knees on her person. Plaintiff was subsequently arrested and charged with crimes that Defendants falsely claimed were committed by Mrs. Butler. Defendants then intentionally provided false information that would be likely to influence a prosecutor's decision to charge plaintiff with a crime.
