Complaint
Description: On August 23, 2013, Plaintiff was in the 44th Precinct asking about his friends when Defendant Officer John Kosilov and others approached him. Plaintiff left the station, but Defendant Kosilov followed and arrested him for trespass. Plaintiff had videotaped an assault by officers on that friend earlier in the day. Defendant Kosilov and others illegally searched Plaintiff. Plaintiff was held until arraignment, 36 hours after his arrest. Plaintiff appeared in court five times. Charges were still pending when suit was filed.
