Description: On October 27, 2020, Plaintiffs Olivia Wanebo and John Acosta attended a protest against police brutality in Kings County. Plaintiff Acosta was filming the officers stationed at the protest and witnessed an unnamed officer use their bicycle as a weapon against another protestor. Description: On or about May 6, 2013 Plaintiff was lawfully outside of an apartment door when he was accosted by POs Erick Corniel and Ivan Lugo, who assaulted and battered him both outside and inside the apartment without legal justification or provocation. Plaintiff sustained multiple injuries to his head, face, body, and limbs, including a cracked skull that required staples to be placed in his head, as well as mental anguish as a result of this incident.
