Description: On July 18, 2015, plaintiffs were lawfully present in the street, when defendant POs Perez and Espinal approached plaintiffs and informed them that they were not permitted to stand on the sidewalk. Defendant POs then, without probable cause, violently arrested both plaintiffs and falsely charged them with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and related charges. Plaintiffs were held in custody for two days. All charges against them were later dismissed.

Description: On February 27, 2014, Plaintiff was arrested, imprisoned, and searched without legal cause or justification. He was arrested in connection with a burglary that had occurred months prior and was already familiar with the precinct, as he had previously been unlawfully arrested by its officers.
