Description: On July 12, 2019, at E. 165 St and Tinton Ave, Bronx, NY plaintiff was on his way towards the subway to go home when he stopped to speak with friends. Defendants stopped, handcuffed and arrested plaintiff. Defendants knew plaintiff had not engaged in a crime but arrested him anyway. Plaintiff was brought to the 40th precinct, and subjected to a strip search. After several hours, plaintiff was transferred to Bronx Central Booking. On July 13, 2019 plaintiff was arraigned and charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana. Plaintiff was released from custody. Plaintiff made several court appearances On March 5, 2020, the Bronx DA dismissed the case.
