Complaint
Description: On or about June 3, 2022, Plaintiff was on her way to a local store with her daughter, Dinasha Brown, when she began having a panic attack. Dinasha Brown sought the assistance from Defendants Police Officer Damir Kozarac and Rajub Bhowmik, and in turn they arrested her. When Plaintiff inquired about why her daughter was being arrested, Defendant Kozarac and Bhowmik handcuffed and arrested her too. At no time did Plaintiff engage in any criminal or unlawful conduct. After Plaintiff was arrested she was transported to the 43rd precinct. At arraignment, the charges against Plaintiff were dismissed upon application of the Office of the Bronx County DA.
