Description: On June 7, 2014, Plaintiff was exiting a cab on his way to a party when defendant officers rushed towards and tackled him to the ground. The defendant officers used excessive physical force against Plaintiff including pressing against his lower back, tossing him to the ground, as well as placing tight grips on his arms. Plaintiff offered to show the officers his identification, but instead he was taken to the precinct without being told what charges were being filed against him. Plaintiff was given a desk appearance tickets, had to appear in court later, and the charges were ultimately dismissed. Plaintiff had to undergo hospital and treatment, and his injuries are permanent in nature and effect.
