Description: On August 18, 2012, Plaintiff was handcuffed, arrested, and transported to the 88th Precinct by NYPD Officers Collins and Benny Lantigua. During this transport Plaintiff's handcuffs were tightened excessively. The reckless manner in which Plaintiff was transported caused him to be thrown about the vehicle, resulting in painful compression to the nerves in his wrists. Plaintiff repeatedly complained of the pain from the tight handcuffs but they were not loosened. Plaintiff requested medical attention and EMS was summoned.
