Description: On February 27, 2019, Plaintiff was lawfully present at the Clean Rite Center located at 127-02 Farmers Blvd., Queens, when multiple NYPD officers approached him. After complying with their request for identification, Plaintiff was violently assaulted, taken to the ground, punched, and kneed in the back, resulting in physical injuries. He was handcuffed, arrested without probable cause, and transported to a nearby precinct where he was searched and falsely charged with Attempted Murder, Assault, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
