Description: On May 26, 2023, Plaintiff was present inside of 280 Marsh Ave, Staten Island, NY when defendants stopped, questioned, searched, and arrested Plaintiff. Defendants apprehended Plaintiff while she was lawfully inside the location as a patron of a bowling alley. Defendants ordered Plaintiff to put her hands behind her back, handcuffed her, and placed her under arrest. Plaintiff was transported to the 123rd Precinct. At the Precinct, Plaintiff was fingerprinted and photographed. Twenty-four hours after Plaintiff’s arrest, defendants gave Plaintiff a DAT summoning her to appear in Richmond County Criminal Court. Complaint
Description: On or about April 25, 2017, NYPD Officer Melin Sahmanovic along with unnamed NYPD Officer defendants approached plaintiff's residence in Richmond County and banged on her door. Plaintiff was then unlawfully arrested upon false claims by defendant Sahnmanovic, who then intentionally filed false police reports/forward such reports to the DA's office. All charges against plaintiff were dismissed on October 31, 2018.
