Description: On May 10, 2016, Delvina Ennis (daughter of the named plaintiff Andrea Lounds) was a passenger on a bus traveling in the Bronx on her way home from school. Following an altercation involving passengers unknown to the plaintiff, the bus driver stopped the bus. Police officers arrived at the scene and ordered the passengers off the bus. In the course of those events, defendant Fuentes grabbed Delvina Ennis by her hair, dragged her from the bus and slammed her head against the sidewalk concrete. Ennis was eventually taken to the police precinct, where the Defendants falsely informed the DA's Office that Ennis had committed various offenses. Following 24 hours in custody, Ennis was released.
