Complaint
Description: On July 20, 2023, Plaintiff was lawfully present at certain premises when he was approached and assaulted and battered by Defendant NYPD officer Urena and several unknown Defendant NYPD officers. Plaintiff was beaten unconscious by the Defendants and placed in handcuffs. Plaintiff was then transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries caused by the Defendants. After being treated, Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and then central booking. Plaintiff was eventually released 14 hours later without being charged with any crime and without seeing a judge.
