Description: On May 4, 2020, NYPD officers, including Charles Hudson and Shirnell Williams, approached the plaintiff, who was in his car, and ordered him to exit the vehicle. The officers had no reason to suspect the plaintiff had committed a crime, The plaintiff questioned the officers, called 911, and explained that he was waiting for a friend. Defendants, including Hudson and Williams, dragged the plaintiff from his car, slammed him against the car, and violently contorted his arms to place tight handcuffs on him, which caused loss of feeling, redness, and swelling to the plaintiff's wrists and hands and aggravated a shoulder injury he had.
