Description: On December 31, 2016, plaintiffs were gathered for an annual event to celebrate the life of their family member who was shot to death by NYPD in 2003. All plaintiffs either resided at or were visiting the subject premises. After midnight on January 1, 2017, P.O.s Omar Birchwood, Lt. Michael Raimo, and P.O. Jesse Lance knocked on the door under the false guise that they had heard gunshots. The officers insisted that they enter the premises, but plaintiffs demanded a warrant to allow entry. This encounter lasted for more than hour, and the officers didn't allow plaintiffs to close their front door. Description: On September 23, 2013, Plaintiffs, who are all related, were staying over at one plaintiff's residence after a family get together. After their neighbor had a verbal altercation with one of the plaintiffs, officers arrived outside of the building. These officers include Wayne S. Forde, Robert Schierenbeck, Michael Raimo, Timothy Fox, Vincent Salerno, Robert Aasheim, William Stevens, and Patrick Graney. The officers kicked and banged on Plaintiffs' door, and threatened to break down the door.
