Complaint
Description: On August 19, 2022, plaintiff's decedent was operating a vehicle in the early morning hours when defendants began pursuing and chasing the decedent's vehicle on a dark and narrow roadway through several blocks, utilizing an unmarked vehicle and continuing their pursuit with additional police vehicles at a high rate of speed. As a result of the pursuit, the decedent's vehicle struck a tractor trailer, causing him to sustain severe injuries. Defendants then fled the scene and left plaintiff's decedent on the street bleeding and suffering. Plaintiff's decedent then died.
