Description: On December 23, 2016, NYPD officers, including P.O. Jimmy Maldonado and Sergeant Vincenzo DiMartino, forcibly entered the apartment in which plaintiffs were staying and pointed firearms at them. One of the officers stepped on a plaintiff's hand and another handcuffed a plaintiff in an excessively tight manner. The officers then transported plaintiffs to a precinct. All charges against plaintiffs were later dismissed.
