Description: On July 6, 2018, NYPD Officers executed a search warrant at 487 Carlton Avenue, Apt. 25K, where Mr. Norman Long lives with roommates. Mr. Long was arrested for possession of a small amount of oxycodone, even though the oxycodone was prescribed to him by a doctor and therefore in his possession lawfully. The Officers unreasonably used force while arresting Mr. Long. At no point did Mr. Long resist arrest. Officers dressed in plain clothing approached Plaintiff and conducted a frisk. They did not find anything other than U.S. currency but brought plaintiff to the 73rd precinct.
