Description: On December 5, 2014, Plaintiff Edrei attended protests in Manhattan as a photojournalist and photographer. The Plaintiff took photos of NYPD officers violently arresting people. NYPD was also using an LRAD (long range acoustic devices) to deter protestors. The noise gave the Plaintiff immense pain that turned into a migraine spread to the entire face. The Plaintiff was feeling very dizzy, confused, and scared. She managed to make it back home but had a migraine headache and felt facial pressure for around the next week. Ever since, the Plaintiff has become much more sensitive to noises, and even experiences ringing daily.
