Complaint
Description: On June 20, 2019, in the vicinity of 5223 Broadway in Brooklyn, New York, plaintiff Graham and plaintiff Nunez drove to a deli to get food with their friend in the backseat. The plaintiffs were lawfully parked in front of the deli with valid driver's licenses and not committing any crimes. Defendant NYPD officers approached the plaintiff's vehicle without probable cause and requested license and registration. After obeying aggressive orders to exit the vehicle, the officers placed both of them in handcuffs and put them in a police vehicle. They were transported to the 50th precinct and the District Attorney was provided with false and misleading information. All charges were subsequently dropped.
