Complaint
Description: On or about May 18, 2019, plaintiffs Flemming and Fernandez were smoking a cigarette outside of Red Hook Winery when defendant Torem, an employee of a nearby business, approached and falsely accused them of touching his nearby parked vehicle. The plaintiffs denied the accusation, but Torem proceeded to viciously attack them, without justification or provocation. The attack included both punching and kicking to both plaintiffs, causing severe injuries to Fernandez's knees and lacerations to his body as well as a head contusion and other severe injuries to Fleming.
