Complaint
Description: On September 9, 2017, Defendant Officer Frank Vozzo approached, searched, handcuffed, and arrested the Plaintiff without a warrant or legal cause. The Plaintiff did not commit a crime nor resist arrest. Yet, the Defendant used excessive force, assaulting and battering the Plaintiff until he lost consciousness. The Plaintiff woke up in the hospital with pain and cuts over his left eye, both knees, shoulders, and both wrists. The injuries were so severe that they required 30 to 40 sutures for multiple laceration repairs. In addition to the physical injuries, the Plaintiff sustained severe and permanent psychological injuries and economic loss.
