Description: On November 30, 2013, during a wedding event, NYPD officers from the 109th Precinct, including Lieutenant Anthony Kotarski, Sergeant Charles McDonald, Police Officer Stephanie Stewart, and Police Officer Dominic Cappiello, conducted a raid on the premises. The officers allegedly physically pushed, verbally abused, and unlawfully placed hands on Plaintiff, the manager of the catering facility, in a threatening and injurious manner. Plaintiff was then falsely arrested, detained, and imprisoned for over 24 hours without access to his diabetes and heart medication, despite his repeated requests. Officers also confiscated over seventy cases of alcohol, damaged property, and ignored a valid liquor license.
