Description: On May 24, 2017, plaintiff was on a public playground with her children and her friend's children. As plaintiff talked to her friends, plaintiff's child wandered away from the playground and, unbeknown to plaintiff, returned to their home. When plaintiff realized that her child was missing, she started searching for the child and ultimately called 911 to report her child missing. After no POs responded to her call, plaintiff walked to the nearby precinct where she was told that her child had already been found and was in custody.
